Firesticks + Smart TV's powered by Android that I sideload Kodi & "The Crew" video add-on. I also have a real-debrid subscription as well. Usually works like a charm.

Im wondering why no one mentions Emby here... I fiddled around for some time with it and thought it was pretty cool
When i find myself some more freetime ima give my old macbook a second live and use it as an emby server.

Firestick 4k max , is there any new Android boxes with more than 2gb ram, all I see are the old ones. The Onn ones I heard are only good in the USA

I run a Jellyfin server on a mini pc running openmediavault for my NAS. The Jellyfin app is available for most devices and you can stream from your server from there. If the Jellyfin app isn't available for your device, you can use a web browser for access, too.

i was using windows 11 file sharing which worked great you can open the files directly in the iphone file browser. it uses samba. vlc also works great

I used to have 2x Firestick 4k Max's but since 2025 been using 2x Thomson 270 box's bought from Amazon, they working good. My bedroom I got Bush 40inch Full HD HDR Smart TV (2025 model) bought in February 2026 from Argos, so quite new.

Plex and Chromecast. Plex's policy changes are not great, but I have had a Plex Pass for a long time thankfully.
