Sticky TV Series I Currently Like and Recommend

For your tastes i can think of a few french tv shows :

- Cherif (a cop in the city of Lyon, a lot of funny pop culture reference about cop shows)
- Braquo : A story of dirty cops
- Engrenages : Realism before all. Interesting show even though i stopped following.
- Inspecteur Derrick : Because of course Derrick

I'll come back if i think of anything else

We just finished watching Hunters. Its an Amazon Original. We don't have Prime so I downloaded it. Its really good. We binge watched it really fast. It stars Al Pacino and is about a group of people hunting down Nazi's. Takes place in the 1970's.

My question when we were watching it was,,,How the heck did Amazon get a top notch actor like Al Pacino to do an original streaming series? And how much money did he get? It must have cost Bezos a fortune to pay that guy for the series.

I’ve watched the first 3 episodes so far.
Main hero is an old-time styled Wyoming sheriff, a little bigger than real life, engaged in detective work with action and some twists,

Very much an American type of show that should appeal to local viewers.
For me, the foolhardy taking of risks and getting away with it is a disadvantage, but the show is nevertheless watchable.

If you have difficulty finding working host links for the first couple of series, I had no problem getting them on torrent. Americans are advised to use a VPN.

Blue Bloods (2010-) Rated 7.6 by imdb

The show revolves around an Irish family of New York cops. Each member of the family represents a different aspect of police work or the legal process:

Tom Selleck is the stern Police Commissioner, his older son a competent detective and his younger one a rookie lawyer/sergeant.
Bridget Moynahan, as his asst DA daughter, adds appeal to the show.

It’s a long running show with 11 Seasons so far.

From the 7 first epis I’ve watched, I’d rate it as (just about) good, or 8.0.

Tehran is pretty good if you a fan of Homeland. Its on Apple+ but I got it here. I liked it.

Rotten Tomato users generally gave it high marks. Most 10/10 from what I read.

I only speak English so if you DL it make sure you get the English Apple+ version if your like me. This is a new series to Apple but its actually a 2019 release in Hebrew. Apple just bought the series and retranslated it for English ppl. They speak Farsi, Hebrew and English in the series so the Hebrew only episodes made me get lost until i Re-DLed them. It does have subs hardcoded so thats not a problem.Then I binge watched it in one day. I think its pretty good new TV.

When you are tired of all those cops and robbers, try a bit of history with series such as Versailles , The Crown and Victoria. All entertaining and educational at the same time. Older series such as Rome, The Tudors and I Claudius are still worth a watch too.

I loved Victoria, They was to bring it back but that never happened. The Crown is popular as all heck but I was never able to get the links to stay up to date with the series.

SOA is great but I think Mayans is pretty bad. It sucks

Jack Ryan is great SO if you like Homeland and stuff like that I recomend the TV called Tehran.

Not a Star Wars Guy but I gotta say I like The Mandalarian series a lot. And who dont like Dexter?(DL the e-books) if you a fan.

Just got done with this mini series.
Pretty good IMO.
You got to pay attention as it jump back and forth in time.

I would rate a 7+ out of 10.

This series just got better and better, those of us ex-Army/military, will appreciate how well done this is. We all had goof-offs, jokers and wankers. Yes, it is a bit of a ‘soap opera’ remember it is only entertainment, not the Seal, or. Ultimate force, type show.
