The Unbroken Step
The road is long, and it does not care
how tired your feet are.
It stretches,
merciless,
into horizons you cannot see.
But still—
you take one more step.
Not because it is easy,
not because the end is clear,
but because stopping
would mean surrender.
And something inside you,
something nameless,
refuses to bow.
So the step comes.
And then another.
And though no one sees it,
you are winning
with every inch.
