Many of the things you are saying are true, but I want to explain something important from my perspective and from many people here.
We do not see ourselves as Muslims. Here, you are considered Muslim by default just because you are born here, not by choice.
We are not Arab; we are Iranian, with our own history and identity. Many people believe that Islam was forced on this country through war centuries ago.
If you have seen videos of Iranians around the world during previous protests, you probably noticed something important: there was almost no violence. In many countries, Iranians even gave flowers to police as a sign of respect for protecting them. That was a very meaningful moment for us inside Iran.
We want change, but we are not people who want chaos or violence. Most of us just want a normal life, with freedom and dignity.
Tonight, state TV said something shocking. They claimed that tomorrow Iran's deadline ends and Trump may target infrastructure like power facilities. Then they told people to gather around power plants so they would not be attacked.
It sounds unbelievable, but this is the kind of messaging people are receiving.
