Blocking is the sign of the times and unfortunately it looks set to get worse, especially in the so-called liberal and democratic countries. But at least while the site is still online, you can use proxies.
Which is more than you can say about many others like The Pirate Bay, which is now finally closed, and the file host search engines FileCrop and FilesTube, both of which have gone.

they block it at dns level. Manually change your dns entries to an unblocked dns server.

Guys, we need badly to come up with a meet up place as a backup

You'd be surprised at how many are members here.
If old bayw from theRusty & snbgm07 era were still around guess were we'd all mainly be.
Some forums have a feel about them that is comfortable to some people & not others, plus some have been members there a long time have grown used to that forum.

Anyone know whats happened to it in the padt few days?
Nothing happened, it's their normal state being down. 
They ran out of 50p's to put in the electric meter 
They are under DDoS.
Maybe there server is solar powered and it started raining.
