Sticky TV Series I Currently Like and Recommend

Just finished watching the series "Away" on Netflix. Very good worth the binge 7.5/10

Now for something different.

La Piovra (The Octopus) Italian National TV Show 1984-98 (in 7 Series)

An epic crime saga of power, money, violence and corruption, the mafia controls everything like an Octopus, but when law enforcement tries to bring them down they pay the ultimate price (IMDB, Rating 8.5).

La Piovra is probably the best known quality show of its kind on Italian TV. The plot is full of action, as the heroes of law enforcement pursue their task with tenacity, despite adverse consequences on their personal life and family, while having to also watch their backs from people they trusted. It is a strong show that pulls no punches, giving insight into the organized crime scene in Italy.

And a warning: it's a realistic show, thus developments are not always agreeable, and not everything turns out fine in the end.

If you do not understand Italian, you will have to find English subtitles (there are some around), but in my view it is well worth it.

Not sure if this show has been mentioned before. The Brit police series 'Line of Duty' is back again with season 6 A very good show indeed, well worth the download. Go take a look guy's.

If you're into dark and psychological thriller types, Servant is worth a look.
Weird but fun.

Someone made a comment about us recommending a show just because it was standing out amongst the pile of mediocre stuff we were being handed these days. This I agree in part with but…there are still some good stuff out there and
'Godfather of Harlem' starring, Forest Whitaker is one of these gems. I don't know how I missed this four years ago but I am glad I found and enjoyed it now. This is one of those Binge nights shows. It is fast paced, interesting so grab a beer and some treats and just enjoy.

If you ever watched the movie. 'American Gangster' with Denzel Washington ,this is the rise of Bumpy Johnson.
Go get it guy's.

I inform that the latest season 22 of the long running British Cop show Midsomer Murders has started and two episodes have already been aired.

By my search, these don't seem to been posted here yet, are available as torrents.

An escaped and rearrested white-collar criminal agrees to help the FBI, in particular the agent who arrested him, catch other white-collar criminals using his brilliant expertise as an art and securities thief, counterfeiter, and conman.
At the back of his actions and a motivating force for them, is his incessant quest for his idealized woman companion, who was forced to disappear from his life.

The theme deviates from the usual cop-gangster show-down situations, and sets the stage for a world of culture and finesse, but with criminals being no less dangerous because of it. At least, spectators are spared from the frequent grizzly scenes more common in gangster warfare shows.

As is usual with American TV series striving for happy-ending plots, it includes many rather hard to swallow situations. But it's generally watchable nevertheless.
