I went through the early days nonsense, early 14.4 connection I had to break the connection to phone my buddies to brag about the very first file I managed to download that was a whole 1MB!!!!!!!Oh I've been on dial up before.....nightmare and yes 2Mb was a complete and utter nightmare especially when trying to do things on the net like the site lol

Here these so-called Mergers are taking away your options for an ISP. the Fibre X (Telus) is determined to grab Rogers/Shaw customers which is actually working out for prices SO FAR. (always ends up a catch down the road)I could have a faster speed but that means more money which I can't afford
These guys and their Fibre X did directional drilling, horizontally about 4 feet deep from over 1/2 a block away and somehow manage to keep in a straight enough line to hit a hole they dug in the front lawn that was "maybe" a little more that a Foot wide, at best. Quite the technology. Once here, were able to directional drill, curving under my cement driveway and hitting a small hole beside the cement wall of the basement.Mine for the time being...
We have another company coming in with fiber optic... but they need permission from our building owner to put it in. Can't even get a price from them until that's resolved. I know they offer 1Gb (similar to what we're using now) and then, 2Gb Up/Dw... 5Gb Up/Dw. Doubt the wife will let me get the 5, but 2 sounds really nice. And.. I'd have to update my NIC since my board only supports 1Gb. My kid's computer supports 2.5Gb.
nor Canada lol
$75. CDN( special for two years)Holy crap. What do you pay for THAT speed? And do you get anything close to that on a real world download?
