In this thread you can post photos of your pets, past or present. Hopefully, the thread may be pinned as on other boards I know.

I start off with my first ever cat, called Grisetta, a female tabby with grey fur - grise (f) is French for grey. Her intelligence and friendliness inspired my subsequent affection for cats.

Here is a scan of an old print.

Our first cat was a Turkish Angora named Chrissie. She lived 18.5 years.
I don't have any pictures of her, but she looked exactly like this one from the web.

Our next cat was a Tabbie we got from my brother on his farm named Tiggie. She lived 19.5 years.

Next came Daisy and Scooter, two Ocicats. They're still with us and are 16 years old.

Next is a little boy we cat-sat for 2 weeks named Breezie. I don't know where he is now or if he is still alive.

Now we come to my favorite pet of all. This is my Yummy Tat, a lilac point Siamese (Meezer). She was rescued from a farm in NW Florida in March of 2002 at the age of 2.5. Yummy died this past February at 15.5.

Next we have our two newest babies, Fancy and Baby. We rescued them from a dog rescue in Northern Minnesota 2 weeks ago. They are 1 year old chocolate point Siamese sisters from the same litter. Baby probably won't live long because she has a hole in her heart that can't be fixed. It's a good thing we rescued her when we did, because without medicine to get the fluid off her lungs because of her heart failure, she would already be dead. With the right medicines, she could live for a few more years and every day now is a gift.

We've also had a fair number of dogs - all miniature poodles and I'll post their pictures later.

You have posted all your cats in one go, NR, I'll present mine one at a time over time to keep the thread alive.

Cats seem to thrive and live long lives at your place, while your action in saving them is much to your credit. Some excellent photography too.

This is my first tomcat (male cat), called Dauphin, a name given to the successor to the French throne. A true prince in appearance and behavior in the form of a docile tabby. Actually, Dauphin is the name I gave to two very similarly looking cats I had, the second in memory of the first.

The photos were taken on film a long time ago and digitized recently, with some loss in quality. The first one is reproduced from another thread, so I have added a second one.

Beautiful as nature makes them.

You guys bring tears to my eyes... :(

Cats are wonderful when alive, but then, when they die, the hurt remains for ever... so much so that I have decided never to get another cat again once Dharma, Garfield and Mae Mae are gone...

I'll see if I can dig up some photos of the ones I lost.... Annie, McGyver, Happy and Wilde.... R.I.P guys....

I have had Garfield (aka Gaga aka Laddie GaGa) for 14 years now....

This is my prince Dauphin II as a kitten. I remind that Dauphin, French for dolphin, was the French successor to the throne.

The kitten’s lively eyes reflect the innocence of a young animal that hasn’t known the evils of the world.

The granddaughter watching cartoons with the new addition to the family. (rescued 6 months ago)

Well I guess the cat (Mango) wants to watch too, so a little adjusting. LOL
Nobody helped, something they were doing.

This cat "Mango" has an extremely unique personality so stay tuned for more.
I have never seen a cat that plays with children like this one does.
Brings toys to the grandchildren when it's "Playtime".

Well taken photos, especially the first one.

My best friend in my childhood was my cat too, hence my affection for them.

Thought I would add a bit of canine presence to the feline fest. As when dealing with Joe Pesci, don't let Wes's short stature lull you into a false sense of security...

These are some of my other outside cats.
A neighbour passed away and his little girl decided she lived at my place (in my yard (on my veranda in a heated bed actually)) and she went on to have 2 lots of 3 kittens, 3 boys then 3 girls. We kept the lot (and had all girls including mum desexed) but sadly one of the boys vanished. It hurt, he was my sons favourite and he won't ever forget.

I have more cats, and more photos, I just have to get out but I'll post pictures later.

Not to offend anyone but cats are gross and dogs well.....I can live with I guess. I use to own a ferret years and years ago. His name was Weaser (Hence my nic). He was Weaser before Weaser became a popular band. Unfortunately he died of cancer and I never owned another animal again.
