OK, I'll see if I can approach other cat sites, though as you would know, cats are solitary self-sufficient animals.

OK, I inform that I have now added a small slide show on the front page for better immediate visual impact.
PLUS
A comprehensive set of transparent cat smileys, which are free to use.
They can replace the usual icons that have lost their originality and interest.
As far as I know, no other cats site has a full set of transparent smileys.
So I contend that mine is not only the first to include them, but at this time the only one!

They load here.

If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen then. (Murphy's Law)
I checked with "Is it down for everybody..." and, as Tango said, many sites were down for part of the world.
But so as I wouldn't notice anything, it kept working for me.
