Favorite All Time Movie

i actually love the top imdb Movie Shawshank Redemption. I usually dont agree much with Top Movies Lists. But this movie is so good i actually agree with it being on Spot #1.

I'd say for me, a tie between The Matrix (first one) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

For me it really depends on my mood.

There would be evenings when I want to just kick back and enjoy some of my childhood memories with Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill or one of the 70s kung-fu legends, or maybe a classic animated movie.
At other occasions I want to show off my weird and artsy collection to my friends and we screen and discuss a lesser known gem. Or do a thematic binge.
And on special nights I enjoy getting lost in the moment when Rachel taunts Deckard for the first time during the Voight-Kampff test.

Boring predictable answer of Shawshank Redemption, its just so right.

Have it basically memorized word for word.

Starship Troopers

Is it a great movie objectively? Probably not, but somehow it's the only movie i can watch again and again and enjoy it every time

Akira/Princess Mononoke
Gladiator
Bloodsport

sorry cant decide on one, depends on my mood but this ones i watched so many times so i guess

Citizen Kane. Pacing, the script, cinematography. It's as close to a perfect film as you can get.

I'm more of a comedy fan than anything but like all types of films. Favorite franchise is Star Wars & Revenge of the Sith is my favorite film. I didn't say best so don't at me lol

The Maltese Falcon with Humphrey Bogart. Actually Bogie was great every time. Showing my age? Or Classics?

Hard to say one, but The Matrix is so multi-dimensional it's hard not to think of it first. Can't leave without mentioning Signs and Castaway. I just love stories with characters that change and grow.

I find it hard to separate myself from trilogies, but that's still 3x movies in the case of LotR or Indiana Jones.
I suppose as a one-off, I honestly might say The Last Samurai.

Probably same here too.
I think Fellowship of The Ring edges it out for me though. Maybe it's that the stakes aren't super high yet and all that, but the tone, the character introductions, I find Fellowship the most re-watchable

I definitely rewatch Fellowship the most too.
I genuinely waffle back and forth each month or year about which of the three films I like best.
