)The only thing with unleaded now is that it affects the ignition coil. Just like the old 4* petrol, when it was switched over to unleaded engines needed extra lubricant added to the fuel so that it would burn out the engine parts, particularly the valves. They don't need harden seats or valves just bung some additive in the full tank of petrol each time and the engine would be fine. Now they have changed it so that there is more ethanol in the petrol which is causing problems with ignition coils, despite manufacturers saying its fine to use in the "newer" cars when in fact its not. I've had my car a year and a bit and I have had to replace 2 ignition coils, both the same end. That can only be from the fuel, there are no error messages nothing.
The ethanol would just eat them up. Yummy plastic
