Why so damn expensive??

Why do some of these softwares that look super simplistic in both their appearance and functionality cost so damn much?? FL studio for example is like 200 dollars USD for like the basic bare bones stuff. Adobe products are another great example, photoshop is like 300 bucks I think and it has like nothing lmao

Software takes a few people to design and produce and then test before it goes on the market. Then there is the follow up issues that have to be sorted, customer service etc

Not to mention all the background stuff and continued work they do after the software is released. Everything costs money and that’s past on to the consumer.

Software will always be expensive..they put out something to work for a duration and want cmopensation....and if it was easy to make for functionality there would be more choices

One point I would like to make is that that 100 dollar app probably cost a million dollars or more to create.
Once the patent is is void, others will copy and make new apps so they try make the most they can while they can.

This does suck for sure but if you want to see upgrades and an app grow, this is needed.

I have seen a few apps in my day I liked but were not popular.
They are dead these days and not be upgraded because of $$ .
