What happened somewhere in the world that effected you deeply and still does.

For me it was the massacre at Dunblane Primary School in March of 1996.

The Dunblane school massacre occurred at Dunblane Primary School on 13 March 1996. The gunman, 43-year-old Thomas Hamilton (b. 10 May 1952), entered the school armed with four handguns, shooting and killing sixteen children and one adult before committing suicide.

For some reason it tore a huge chunk out of my heart and I wrote this.

Let The Children Live.......

We bring them in,.................and show them how,..........and teach them why to live.
We give them all,..................and hold their hands,.........so they may try to live.
We show them why,............and give them rules,...........in which their bound to live.
We cannot try,........................hard enough,..........................to give them lives to live.

We set them on,.....................the way of life,.....................so they begin to live.
They trust us now,...............in all we say,..........................for it's the way to live.
But when they start,............to travel down,......................the road they are to live.
You cannot stop,...................the way you feel,..................for it's the way you’ve lived.

The pain hurts now,............and will not die,...................at least they tried to live.
Take heart dear folks,........for they are near,.................in our hearts they live.
I send a call,............................for all to hear,.......................listen if you can.
Please remember,.................before you do it,..................let the children live........

When ever I hear of even 1 child being shot I come back to this to just remember all the children.

Nowadays, the world is like communicating vessels. Hardly anything happens anywhere that doesn't affect unrelated places. For example, some criminal idiot sets a forest on fire in Greece, and soon enough he finds imitators and forests are burning not only at the other end of Europe - Portugal - but also in USA and Australia.

Anyway, I suppose the most recent event expected to have widespread influence, and not only in Europe, are the German elections. But what is affecting my life most right now is the economic recession.

There are a number of things that have affected me in some way, and dunblane primary school is only one of them. This is another! Kids taken away from the only world they knew and suffered lonely, brutal childhoods. All experienced disruption and separation from family and homeland.

Can only think of one thing effecting me right now

"Obamacare"

Funny how quietly wrapped up its being kept too
We'll, I'll know something next week and if I will have health insurance come first of the year.

After all, if I keep being knocked off ladders with chainsaws we'll eventually I'll need insurance :roll:

But since I'm losing my current insurance due to Obamacare we'll I don't know what to expect Obamacare to be, what it will cover, how much it will cost or how its going to affect me yet :headhurts:

And I hate this crap

It's just as bad as when kids were taken from mothers from the 50's to late 70's
Being one of these I am as well one of a generation of stolen children.

No wonder I'm screwed up sometimes.
