I'm here more for software, but I agree that I don't like installers or potential malware. I know that's sometimes unavoidable, but it's great if Kaspersky can scan it without flagging it - better if the rest can too, but they do also look for cracks it seems.I do my best to keep things as simple as possible for the end user, and to provide updated, clean files free of any crap you might come across when sourcing things from the web as a pirate.
When it comes to game releases, I don't like installers, I don't like copying crack files, I don't like the potential malware and false positives that need manual configuration to "whitelist" in modern PC antivirus software. Ideally my releases will be very easy to install (none required, just extract), be free of malicious files, and work on many modern windows systems.
My ideal download is:
1. Portable/no need to install
2. Doesn't get tagged by Kaspersky/AVs
3. Full functionality
No viruses/compromising PC is a given in any software you'd want imo.
