This is probably the best album I've found in the last five years or so. It's labelled as "technical death metal", but I'm not so sure I agree with that, it's more like progressive, except it's not progressive in the same sense as all the other junk labelled as progressive. Everything is locked in: the mix is so well-done, every track has its own space carved for it, and sits perfectly within it; vocals are peak, with great tone and flow; overall composition swings from sweet to spicy to brutal, and then back again. Every song is a journey, and with each new listen, it somehow sounds more and more perfect.
