The plus sign can turn your Gmail into multiple addresses

Came accross this potentialy useful trick:

"If you want to use the same Gmail address to sign up for two different accounts on a site, here's a neat trick. At the end of your handle, append a plus sign and add a word — it's recognised as a different address but goes to the same Gmail inbox. For Gmail addresses, only the characters up until the first plus sign are used to determine where to send the email. For instance, emails sent to

Code:
myemail@gmail.com

and

Code:
myemail+suffix@gmail.com

will both go to

Code:
myemail@gmail.com

Wow hey this is a pretty neat tick. Thanks. Also, shouldn't this be in tutorials or something? Let's discuss if this doesn't work on certain sites otherwise. I'll try it out soon.

Thought of puting it in "E-books & Tutorials" in the first place. Though it might be better to have a subforum "Neat tricks" or something like that.
Such info usually is just a couple of sentences, a parahraph. Easily lost among all those e-book titles.

Good suggestion discussing if this work or not on all sites. Here's a start kick off:
Some forums (or all of them?) check not only e-addresses but also the IP of the registering user. So, although you offer a different address for you aditional account, you'll be warned that registrations from the same IPs are forbidden.
Had that last week on some board.
Hopefuly, this might not be the case on all boards.
