Supermoon is a term used way too much, any full moon looks huge coming over the horizon.
Plus, every moon is super when you own a telescope:

This is a stitch of 8 separate sections of the moon with each section being shot 15 times (15 frames) and resulting frames stacked to show detail.
Shot through a 12mm Vixen Lanthanum eyepiece attached to an 8" carbon fibre RC astrograph, shot with Nikon D810

My eyepiece introduced a little chromatic aberration (slight blue on both sides) which I'm having trouble removing. I confirmed it is the eyepiece because the telescope itself doesn't.

The following is a stack of 50 individual frames, same night, same telescope and camera but no eyepiece:

Thanks!
The big stitch image at top can be printed out at 55" x 55". I tried to get it done locally at just 24" x 24" and they quoted me $55 for one print. I said "crap, I wanted half a dozen copies" and the lady told me they'd do them for $30 each (and I'll give them away and I'm on a pension, I don't have that money to throw around). I'm thinking since an extra 5 prints dropped the price by $25 each, maybe if I order 12 they'll do them for $5 each.
There's a thought, 2 dozen prints and they'll pay me to print them for me?
LOL

I have to contact another commercial printer out of town I had used some years back, I had some big posters done from my Milky Way shots and the boss said "I can do 12 per sheet" and I think from memory he only charged me around $20 for the one sheet of prints.
Though I think I gave them all away and don't even have a copy for myself......

Slightly different editing:

I own a Kodak photo kiosk which prints 12x8 images but I want a big print for my wall.
Maybe print multiple stages and tape it together but I haven't had the best luck in the past doing that, nothing ever lines up, not with these old eyes..........
