Programs worth $3,920 for free!

First of all, I’ve just come across this offer and haven’t (yet) tried it personally. So though it looks on the level, I leave its assessment up to you.

The site promises that all you have to do is subscribe to a free newsletter emailed twice a week, which you can cancel at any time. It assures no spam. In return, you get a variety of quality programs worth over $3,920 for free.

The web site will only stay open through to the end of July 2013.

First thing I notice is that they designed a box for each of these programs to make them look more valuable then they really are - Like "weather spy" - a program that displays the weather on your desktop- and its already free from:

But they made a cool box art

and they make the program look more valuable then it actually it.

The same goes for every program they have listed - Doom, America's Army (hasn't that always been free??) BestTorrent etc...

Many are small programs that can be had free around the web anyhow. And there is no telling if installing any of these will include toolbars or who knows what.

But it might be worth it for people who are not into warez and want some free programs I suppose. But I seriously doubt those programs are worth $3,920.
