So, I am playing this 25-year-old game. I can say which one and what my goal is. It is a private server, and the developers have changed the game a lot. but I want an "advantage edge from the rest" so I Started 7 VMWARES, diablo 2....... if you are familiar with DIABLO 2. 8 players give max xp, max drops, makes things harder, but in theory I can farm better gear shorter amount of time if I can have private games with 8 players.
so Far, my main gaming pc is the host to the VMware but I also am playing diablo 2 on this private server. My first VMware worked amazing. here is the issue now that I want to add 6 more, I need VPNs, you cannot have a dual IP address, or it will flag your accounts. I am basically making a d2 clan with me and 7 VMware thinking they are real. So, the next step is VPNs. I just tried the free vpn in apps, but it did not work at all... is there any easier way to put all seven on a different IP does not matter country long as they don't trace all to the same house or street.
any help would be great. it is a great game. and I am just having harmless fun honestly. single player loot is set to 5 men so really, I Am not gaining THAT MUCH just a little.
PS anyone good with programming or autoit ill even pay money for a pickit, or mh or utility tools. I would like to say this is a 25-year-old game this is a privately made server and game now this is not going against blizzard or blizzard's TOS or their agreement of their software license. So, I am totally in the clear to do this. if anything, the private server can get in trouble if blizzard doesn't wish for them to exist, but the game is so old they just don't care..... we go into our holes and fighting in dungeons for loot. just looking for a fun way to increase the madness and chances of loot. I am not a big trader most things i have is honestly self found or self crafted. I am not good at the values of the items on the server hence bad at trading. but I do know I need some high runes to make some good runewords and 7 vmware with VPNs can help me with that
oh i wish i could program so i could program a bot and wake up and be like oh what's in my stash today. it's just a feeling you can't replace like a little kid. - I saw proton has a unlimited free vpn gonna go try that on my vmwares. its not like my vmwares are connected to my host. sharing is off.... i cant even share files between host and guests.
but i am getting make sure virtual machine's config allowes the quest to open host applications? do i even want that?
