One Battle After Another

Just watched this film yesterday. Really enjoyed it. I plan to read "Vineland", by Thomas Pynchon, which this film is based on.

Think it will do well during awards season?

The Christmas Adventurer's Club is genius.

I enjoyed it, but not as much as Inherent Vice - nowhere near as much of a romp. A bit too long and over-serious about itself but then that's my complaint with all of PTA's stuff! I think it'll do very well with awards, but personally rooting for Sinners.

I keep putting this off, because I've never warmed up to PT Anderson.

I decided to get in the mood by watching Anderson's earlier films, which I never bothered to see: mainly Boogie Nights and Magnolia. So far I've seen just Boogie Nights and it was impressive, but left me a bit cold. A lot of style for sure.

Leo needs to make more movies. He procrastinates too much.
