PRO TIP:
I've been using Nord VPN for years, great VPN, great service with plenty of extra features, reliable, etc, ~ the whole 9 yards.
However, re-subscribing requires a bit of a workaround.
See, when you first subscribe, you most likely are going to do so through some sort of deal package they offer, for instance I got a deal for 2 years, a $20 Amazon giftcard, NordPass, and some other thing, idr, all for $80. This great, but when it comes time to re-up on your next package (2 years later for me), that deal, code, package, or whatever either won't be available or simply just can't be applied when re-subbing on the same account. This would've results in my paying closing to $200 with none of the previously mentioned additional rewards.
Therefore, you have to avoid using the renew option in your account and instead let your service run out. As soon as that happens, just find a YouTubers or really anywhere offering a deal, even Nord itself offers the deal packages, and directly subscribe through that deal link.
TLDR: Re-subscribe through deal links, not renewals as renewals don't get the same discounts or bonuses as the deal links do.

I read about that somewhere while I was doing my research, and the same goes for Proton VPN. And as far as I remember, Mullvad is the only VPN that’s just as effective but has no affiliations.
