Nicotine is a wrapper for Soulseek which has been around for about 25 years. I have been on slsk on and off for about 22 years or so. It is p2p. Yeah it is good. But nothing is standardized. And sharers come and go.

nice. much better than orig client.
one issue: doesnt mark files in search results, after adding them to download.

as for slsk in general, getting better and better. more and more high quality lossless stuff.

Nicotine+ and Soulseek are the same thing. Great for finding rare stuff sometimes. Stuff can also disappear and never return, depends on the individual user.
