Mother in law is as old school French as they come.....damn near stereotypical of the French women who lived thru WWII. Her accent is still so thick that if my mom hadn't been darting thru her life with a painfully heavy Japanese accent I would have really struggled communicating. Since I was somehow used to processing butchered English since infancy my wife never has to play interpreter. Sorry to get off track but the comment about the language sent me whirling nostalgic.

Geez, having to edit this...the site looks great but too bad there isn't the magic translate button for English.
