Been quit a while since I've been on a board showing this much traffic at one time.

Hmm...It's difficult to reconcile all that traffic with the activity around here which is restricted to a handful of regular contributors. Kudos to them, especially since they include me.

Is there a way to limit the amount of topics a guest can see in a day?
That would get them to join.

According to Admin's statement in this thread, guests shouldn't be able to see the download links.

If this still applies, it's strange that we get so many guests who don't register.

It is a fine line between giving guests enough to make them want to stop and have a look around and giving them too much and them not needing to register,i have seen many
different approaches to this problem during my time on other boards but i don't think there is an actual answer or best way to tackle it, i feel it can only be decided by the staff on
the board who have to decide on a common agreement,do we let guests download freely or make them register which many will but again only to get the downloads

i guess there are just too many out there who only want whatever is free with no intention of giving back anything,god i am sounding like an agony aunt lol
