I don't mind if I do...
Wrote a complaint letter to a Office supplies chain based in the U.K.
They are idiots & I let their complaints dept know about it:

In future if you need to sell a product could you not employ as many sub-normal, moronic knuckle grazers who can barely string a sentence together let alone utter a coherent syllable between them, there are plenty of better qualified people languishing unemployed at the moment.

My other half thinks it was really bad of me to have sent an email that includes the above.

Anybody got a good put down to add, or sent a similar type of email/ letter to anybody?

Feel free to post!

Depends, what were they trying sell to ya, what'd they say wrong?

I understand that there can be difficulties when dealing with suppliers but who is the complete dumb arse who thinks it's in the best interests of your customers to delete the best selling cheese line you have just because your buyer and the suppliers can't get along?
It really beggars belief
Sent to Woolworths when they deleted King Island cheeses.
3 months later with the help of the store manager the cheese was back.

Long story cut shorter:
I was given a Gift Pack Subscription..a choice of photography magazines... just got it after my birthday and because it was a month after purchase I couldn't exchange it even or choose a different subscription even with the receipt.
Activated the code online and awaited a magazine subscription....and waited, and waited, and waited six more months and no magazine...Phoned so-called help line...Kept on hold and cut off without talking to anyone after half an hour on a premium rate number....Eventually found a contact address for their complaints dept and this was the edited portion

Just go totally OTT, your letter might end up on a notice board for staff to have a laugh at :D

Here is the full reply and response that I recieved..:

Subject: Magazine Subscription

To whomsoever it may concern,

On February 11th 2013 a Gift Pack was bought for me from your branch of WH Smith based at Westfield Shopping Center in Stratford City.
The said Gift Pack was a 'Your Choice Of Photography' Magazine Gift Subscription.

I didn't recieve this until my birthday the following month whereupon I wanted to exchange said Gift pack for an alternative in a branch of WH Smith in XXXXXX XXXXXXXX Retail Park. They informed me that I couldn't exchange it or return it as I hadn't got a reciept for it. So I managed to track down the original reciept (causing much embaressment for the gift pack giver) and tried again to garner a gift pack exchange or a like-for-like exchange to the value of the gift pack. However the staff members were both rude and abrupt and accusatory, this is not the sort of customer service that is befitting of an establishment such as yours . Even though the code was still valid and I had the original reciept with me, I was treated as though I was something that they had stepped in.

Consequently I went online to order one of the Photography Magazines & the code was valid. So I ordered one of the subscriptions online.
However, here is where things went bad again. I had a confirmation on screen that the subscription would be starting but the magazine subscription has not arrived almost five months after it was ordered. I was expecting up to eight weeks for the subscription to start but five months and still nothing?

The information of the receipt is as follows:

6688 Stratford city Westfield
Tel: 0208 519 1056
VAT: 238 5548 36

YOUR CHOICE PHOTOGRAPHY 33.99
Gift Pack Barcode: 3XXXXXXX
Activation Number: XXXXXXXXXX13

Auth No:XXXX53
Merchant ID: XXXXXX83
AID: A000000XXXXXX1010
APS No: 03

I look forward to a prompt reply.

Yours sincerely,

Mark Bryant.

Third email:

Those are my details, and were the ones entered into your website.
I guess I am going to have to wait another few months and a worse experience for a resolution then.
Your customer service is abysmal and highlights the problems you have with running a stationery shop and not a proper online retail outlet.
Maybe if I only used your shops for just the purchase of pencils or elastic bands then I wouldn't have a problem with your poor customer service.
Do please post this on the "Noticeboard" unabridged as it will be posted to an online forum that I visit where other people can be aware of the perils of how not to train staff members and have a good laugh over it.

No wonder British retail has suffered closures, I am surprised that your company hasn't joined the likes of Woolworths & HMV: I guess some people still need to buy crayons from somewhere other than Amazon even though the price range is higher in your outlets. Bring back true competition & good old fashioned
courtesy rather than trying to boost sales of ring binders.

Yours Sincerely Mark Bryant.
