I can no longer recommend Real-Debrid to anyone

I have been a RealDebrid user for almost 12 years and was always happy with the service until it began going downhill about 2 ½ years ago. It started with the Administrator getting ruder and ruder to anyone who would have the audacity to ask a question on their forum. At the same time, they began ignoring support tickets so people would post on the forum their question and point out that the support ticket had not been answered. They would be told to make a support ticket. Catch 22.

Then, suddenly, without warning, they closed/deleted their member forum. Shortly after that they completely stopped answering support tickets. Now I see they have eliminated the support tickets and replaced it with a totally useless "help" system that responds with either a canned response or a total non sequitur answer.

The have a "Farcebook" page that hasn't been updated since 2011. There is absolutely no way to contact them - none, nada, zip. Now, today, they have arbitrarily, without cause, reason or explanation decided my email server that I have used with them for 12 years is "not allowed". That's it, just "not allowed". No explanation, no contact info to ask why. NO NOTHING!

Well, I'm done with them. Twelve years. Done. When my current account expires, so do they. They will be purged from my computer, my memory and my life, never to be seen or heard from again as long as I live. My business now goes to AllDebrid.

Real-Debrid: Goodbye and Good riddance.

Thanks for the warning, though as a principle of piracy, I don't pay for downloads in any form, including subscription.

I suspect financial problems behind the changes. Even worse, this might be repeated for AllDebrid, let's hope not.

I've also never paid to pirate and never will out of principle, but I wouldn't recommend RealDebrid to anyone. It's far from the first or the second time I read bad things about the service.

All the stories I've heard match what OP says. They are extremely unprofessional. If you contact their support staff and they dislike your tone or are just having a bad day, they will screw you over just out of spite. Might even delete your account and keep your money.

I suppose I can consider myself lucky to not have to engage with their support yet. Things just worked for me.. and I can use it, so I've not had any problems. But it does scare me for the day when things will go wrong :D

I've been with Alldebrid since 2012 and have been generally satisfied. Really the only way to truly use a forum like this...

I've been paying for Real-Debrid for a couple years now and have had an excellent experience so far. Never had any dealings with any sort of forums of theirs, and I haven't had a Facebook account in a very long time. When there were some small outages not long ago, they kept us all up to date on their Twitter and gifted free subscription time to make up for the inconvenience. It's been a thoroughly helpful service, while I originally bought it as a frustration-free supplement to Kodi streaming sources, it's been invaluable when paired with JDownloader2 in downloading hoster links from these very forums. So while I can't say anything for the quality of their community, their service has been a pleasure to use and has become an important part of my data hoarding workflow.

I have used Real-debrid, alldebrid and deepbrid(<<<not recommended)

While they all have had problems with RG, I find alldebrid to be a better buy at least for my needs.

I am sure their days may be numbered as RG hates these sites as they cost them money.

I am gonna renew my alldebrid account for 3 months and sit back and see what happens.

I am not recommending Alldebrid over Realdebrid, just stating how they work for me.

Stay away from deepbrid as the service kind of sucks and I say this in the nicest way I can.

Good, bad or otherwise, they are still better then buying individual accounts on the host site, at least for now.

Nice topic NR and I have noticed the changes in debrid sites.
