Below is a version by British magician Paul Daniels, but in fact the finale can be made more impressive by replicating a random sequence (genuinely) freely selected by the audience.
It certainly had me wondering how it works, but my searches did not reveal the secret. The blocks and tube are of course specially made, but how?
Does anyone know or can guess how it’s done?
