glue advise

bit of a off topic question,.but i want to glue some kind of latch to my remote controls , so i can attach a trackjer ,as i keep losing the feckers, any suggestions on the cxatch/attachment and recommedations on the right type of glue?

maybe permatex super glue or gorilla glue clear

I use alien tape to secure my chair lift remotes - one at the top and one at the bottom of the steps. That way I can call the chairlift if I need it. Alien tape holds like forever and comes off clean when you don't need it any more.
