I have noticed that we all must be living in a dismal world as we cannot find any thing funny to laugh about anymore or even smile :) this seems to be the nearest we get to it, but it is not funny, or maybe some one thinks it is?

I laugh all the time. Some people make me laugh more than others. Unfortunately we don't see it here much. Staff have to be pretty serious most times. Setting an example for others is hard sometimes LOL.

Yep I agree. no one tells jokes anymore.

Comedians, on stage and T.V. all they can do is use foul language, how many times can one laugh at the ‘F’ word.

All of the great comedians have mostly died or retired.

Ah wait a moment....Roy chubby brown used foul language all the time, eddie murphy the same...its had its foul language comedians for a very long time. Even Dave Allen swore...and he was very funny

With regard to the laughing....I occasionally find something to smirk about, heartedly laughing is hard to come by thanks mainly to my medication

I laugh at least a couple times a day. Life itself can be funny. I find it funny when the Universe tries to mess with me; like when I drop something or something doesn't go the way I want or expect it to. Trust me, you can't make it to 75 without laughing at life and at yourself.

I have a chuckle sometimes when I try to put the milk in the microwave...occasionally I've tried to put sugar in the fridge and my tea in the fridge to heat it up if I've left it to stew rather than brew lol Mini droid makes me smile and that's good enough for me :)

The days of free speech has ended, unless you want to end up in prison (or disowned) because some of (the few) people have been offended by what you say. The people living in the UK were well known for laughing at themselves, no matter what shape or form or even colour, I just remembered Spike Milligan, The Droid will remember him?

You have free speech, everyone does. You can say what you want, you just have to watch who you say it too LOL

The days of free speech hasn't gone and it doesn't mean a spell in prison either. If you can say it within the facts rather than as an opinion they can't do anything about that. I do have a chuckle at myself for the weird things I do but I also have to bear in mind that what I have is quite a serious mental health issue.

You would have if you called someone it or made fun of someone who had it removed or didn't have one.
But in this case it was being used as an observation, there is a difference.
