I have a vast collection of Popular Mechanics (and others) dated from the 1930's right through to the 1980's...

So, every now and then, I'll drop a fun fact (usually quirky) in here from those magazines... to fill space, they would insert items which, at the time, were interesting to no one but mice... maybe!

Anyhow... the first one involves all us us here...... so read it.... and be amazed...

Somewhat related to the thread by pure coincidence, for the last few days I've been going thru my vast collection of old photos on (negative) film and digitizing the best ones @ 1 Euro each/ 9 Euro for a whole film of 24/36.

It's pure nostalgia, and looking at my old cats is rather touching. I intend to post some of them in the GFX section, as well as on the site on cats I'm creating, which is the reason I'm having them digitized.
