I thought it would be fun to see what free file host is DW's favorite.

I use drop download mostly. As well as others hosts on dw

I too prefer drop.download... haven't tried Mega.nz...it isn't even used in DW

I download rglinks/ gofile , but for UFH I go with ulozto as the files last forever and there no real storage limit.
Wdfiles is good too but mainly use it for quick and dirty dumping of large amounts of files for friends as I unsure of how quick they get dmca.
krakenfiles was super freemium too but as with most filehosts its limited to 500-900kbs due to popularity and hosting costs.

dailyuploads, although it does have the captcha malarkey, they do download extremely quickly and there is no limits on downloads. You can also have multiple downloads going at the same time (parallel downloads how I normally explain them) still with good speeds.

The only reason it’s in our UFH list because it’s speeds still hold up as a free user.

As an uploader my favorite is mega.nz - it’s good on both ends of the file, for the uploader and the downloader.

Becoming a fan of ulozto as well. Sad to say most of the others may be downloader friendly but uploading to those sites is a pain in the ass - limited file life being my biggest problem with them.

I like Ulozto but some downloads can be really slow...archive is another good place and the downloads are quick, don't know what the uploading is like
