This is one of the better free VPN services I know of. Though of course it does have some limitations for free users, most of the others have more severe ones.
It has 4 VPN servers: UK, US, 2xRomania.
Some uses:
1) Anonymity - they claim they Do Not Log Any Activity.
2) 4 different IP addresses available with just a few mouse clicks.
3) Allows access to web sites only available to IP addresses located in the US or located in the UK (or Romania, though can't imagine that will be useful to anyone).
E.g. people outside the UK could watch BBC TV programs on the BBC. The connection is fast enough to allow this.
Or people outside the US can watch Hulu, which is a free, US-only service that works with the US server.
