Yes she is 8 now.
Going on 15.......
Report card came in 2 weeks ago and she got
A=1
B=6
C=3
Really proud of her effort this year to date.
Her reading even though she got an A (which is 12 months in front and the best you can get under our scoring system) is more than 18 months ahead.
She has progressed nicely into the tuna group at swimming and is now learning strokes.
Like frog kick, dolphin kick, breathing on freestyle.
Again very proud of her effort. She is the smallest and youngest in her class of 5.
She finally learned to ride her bike about 3 months ago and can beat Mr12 around the bike track with a 2/5 head start.
That's down from a 1/2 head start.
She can use the Playstation 2 + 3, Wii, PC and Apple computers, DS, iPod and is learning the XBox.
Mr12 still shoots the crap out of her at Halo but she has a record now of 3 kills in one game.
A little more practice and she will catch up in no time.
She loves chess but I won't let her win as that won't give her drive later in life.
She wants to join the chess club at school but you have to be in grade 4 or above and she doesn't think that is fair.
And I think she needs the time outside to play.
School holidays right now and she is driving me crazy.
