It's called "Cardinal" , a very fine police orocedural, set in the fictional Northern Ontario town of Alqouquin Bay (North Bay in reality).
As someone born and bred in Northern Ontario, the series really captures the flavor of life in the north.
Highly recommended.
The novels on which it is based are by Giles Blunt and are also highly recommended.
