Just switched isp's, and the new one has some dumb ass security system built into it that wouldn't let me log into Dirty warez. I disabled it but every time I browse to any site other than a "goody two shoes" site I get an annoying SMS sent to my phone. its drivin me nuts.
Haven't worked out how to stop the phone message part yet. But it's a Dumb idea unless you are Vicar or a Nun.
EDIT: I found the switch online, its finally Gone, & no more texts to my mobile, it's like Christmas..

Yes, Good old "offshore run" Aussie ISP's... And,,, Mate do we get ripped off big time by the robbers, it's like legal scamming...and you almost need to speak,, well, a different language.
Some countries try to speak English too quickly & they don't even know it. I tell them that if they want to do great in their job to relax and to slow it down a bit. Some try it & they usually turn out to be great transactions. And im not being Racist or nothing,,, Just saying.
But that's behind me now because I signed up with an Aussie owned company today, cost me $5 bucks more but I'm getting a reliable 100/25 Mbps, so it's worth it if U have FTTP.

Virgin hasn't blocked any site that I have gone to! Mind you I mainly come here nowadays apart from reading the news.

I've tried multiple sites with virgin and the computer it said no lol. The only way to visit them is with VPN on, which slows down your downloads and can cause problems with buffering.
