Yes he was and he didn't get to do very many, so we missed watching his character grow, unlike Roger Moore and Sean Connery.

I liked spectre the most for the craig movies the villian was really good. Goldeneye for sure. but the best bond ever? i cant answer that ill have to watch some of the old ones and get back to you

I don't care for the recent hard boiled Bond trend. Not for me. Give me silly, cartoony action any day.
