The death of race car driver Allan Simonsen during the 24 Hours of Le Mans event,
has cast a somber shadow across the racing community.
he died shortly after in a hospital from his injuries, with the age of 34 he is the 22st deadly victim of lemans

Only 34. That's sad.
I'm surprised that there haven't been more than 22 killed there. It really gets hairy at times and I'm amazed that the drivers can usually pull out of it.
