Rick and Diane have been married for 30 years but their marriage is not in a good place, so they go to see a counselor.When the counselor asks what the problem is, Diane immediately bursts into a rant about how terrible everything is, listing every issue she’s ever had in the 30 years they’ve been married. It was just an endless list of issues, one after another. She just kept banging on and on and on about why she was not happy.The counselor listens momentarily and then he gets up, goes around the desk, embraces Diane and kisses her passionately. Diane is stunned into silence and she just shuts up and sits quietly in a complete daze.The counselor then turns to Rick and says, “That’s what your wife really needs and she needs it three times a week. Can you help her Rick?”“Well,” says Rick, “I could bring her here on Monday and Wednesday, but on Fridays, I play golf.”
