Hip-Hop/Piracy/Tor/DDLs...Interest Check?

Hi, I'm new and I think I understand the rules but I hope you will be lenient with my general ignorance anyways.

This thread concerns some interests I have in the following subjects: hip-hop, piracy, Tor, and ddls. See, when I joined this forum i did so with a collection of music I had hoped to upload. However, not knowing the rules outright I didn't realize that I couldn't just use OnionShare, a Tor-friendly file-saving and sharing client. My goal is to now either find enough people to share my OS (OnionShare) with so that they may contribute to it and we can become a happy family, OR to find someplace else (I'm really hoping here) that I can find like-minded people with similar interests to find a way to get this music passed between us.

TL;DR If you are or know anybody with these interests could you please reply so we can talk about it? I have no one to chat to IRL, but feel safe enough here. Thank you, and I hope I did not come across too goofy or shortsighted.

Considering that every uploader on this forum is required to use at least one file sharing service from our list of User Friendly Hosts, I don't believe your proposed use of OnionShare will be a match for us. As I understand it, OnionShare will only work between people who have the OS client on their system. Other people will not be able to get in on the sharing. If that is, in fact the case then unless you're also willing to use one of our User Friendly Hosts, your search probably needs to continue.

I didn't think about it like that, I guess you're right. I didn't mean for it be so exclusive. I saw it as an alternative to Google Drive, where I currently share most of my files (but am running out of space). I've personally never uploaded to an actual file sharing site before (excluding google and mega), so I am very new at this. I would like to learn though, and am open to tips and tricks.

Most people are drivebys, they look for what they want and go. Music like anything else is a individuals taste and unfortunately, not everyone has the same taste in music. Its hit and miss just like TV and films. You just have to try your luck and see if anyone downloads.

You are right. I guess all I can do is just hope for the best.

Just remember direct downloads only, no torrents or darkweb links or other stuff, just properly links and not shortened or masked etc.

I use onionshare now and then. If you a Windows user you wasting your time routing anything through Tor.... Just saying...
