Of course that kinda defeats the purpose. It's starting to look like Sinovac is not a very good vaccine at all, as many are reporting still catching the covid despite the Sinovac jab. Of course that could be a variant that Sinovac was not designed for. Locally, as a result of our mass vaccination program, society is reopening, cautiously. I'm assuming that there'll be a 'delta+' booster coming soon.
Sinovac is less effective against light and mild symptons, but it's nearly as effective as the others on preventing lethal forms of the disease.
People who are young and fully healthy really should be taking the stronger vaccines. But I think Sinovac is a very good option for people like me who have lots of allergies and autoimmune issues. I'm scared to death of taking any other vaccine because of this.
