Following the announcement that New Zealand's postal service is to run only three days a week in most areas due to the dominance of email over the traditional letter, The Telegraph presents the 2013 list of things the Internet has sadly, and in some cases thankfully, killed off.

The list is long, so I just give a link while mentioning here the very first and most important item:
1. Pictures of dogs
Sorry dog owners, the internet only champions all things feline. It seems there is nothing that cannot be made 'lols' by the addition of a poorly spelt caption. See the phenomenal success of icanhascheezburger for more details.
