Time Warner Cable May Drop CBS From Its TV Lineup
Don't be left stranded without your favorite programming! Time Warner Cable has not renewed its contract to provide you with all your favorite CBS shows. Don't be the only one who can't see NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, The NFL on CBS, The PGA Tour, SEC Football, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist, The Good Wife and the final season of How I Met Your Mother.

I am having the same problem as I am also a Time Warner customer - but I don't really care too much - its easy to just download the 5 cbs shows I care about (2 and a half men, big bang theory, elementary, big brother and survivor) - also- Time Warner is blaming cbs for the whole thing saying they have increased their rates.

Oh sure, easy for TW to point the finger, not the first time though TW has held a network hostage, ESPN for example couple years back.

They have a tendency of making a habit of this now and you think the FCC would step in.

Screw cable. I have an antenna inside my attic and can pick up 36 over the air digital channels, including CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, FOX, CW and many others. My internet is wireless from Clear-wire and I never miss a show I want to see. If it's on cable, I download it. Since we told cable to go "F" themselves, we've saved $90 a month for just about 4 years ($4320). The antenna cost $500 (installed) and internet is $600 a year. So I'm plus $1420 and still see everything I want (and withOUT) the damn commercials).

I'm about ready to say screw it, I can download it cheaper anyhow we just keep it so we can get the 6 PM local news.

6 PM news isn't worth $70 a month.

I'm so glad I haven't ordered that Tivo series 4

this just came this morning:
CBS Corporation, the owner of several TV networks and broadcast TV stations, has made outrageous demands for the right to continue delivering their programming to our customers. As a result, several CBS-owned channels have been removed from your lineup while we continue to negotiate for fair and reasonable terms.

EDIT
I don't think it applies to my area :whistling:
Why on hell send this crap to me then.
CBS Owned-and-Operated TV stations in the following cities:
Los Angeles: KCBS and KCAL-Ind.
New York: WCBS
Dallas-Ft. Worth: KTVT-CBS and KTXA-Ind.
Boston: WBZ-CBS and WSBK-Ind.
Chicago: WBBM-CBS
Denver: KCNC-CBS
Detroit: WKBD-CW
Pittsburgh: KDKA-CBS and WPCW-CW
