I am suffering a nasty heatwave, and the news from nothing but idiot politicians. Unless you're in Antarctica, you'll be similarly afflicted. I'm in the N E corner of the UK. We may not survive what these cretins are playing at, but hey, we won't be whatever religious nuts do survive and take over, so that's alright then?
I was always an admirer of Douglas Adams. He wrote about a planet who decided to get rid of the useless third of the population, it was called Golgafrincham. Seems they did too. Got rid of the useless third of the population. He called them hairdressers, middle management account executives and telephone sanitisers, but you can include the more obvious examples, many of whom you know of. Meanwhile they told the useless third of the population (them) that they all needed to evacuate the planet and search for a new home since it was all about to be swallowed by a giant mutant stargoat. They did, and with in the 'Bee' ark unfortunately they found the earth, by accident naturally. And we are all therefore the unwanted result. I wonder if Golgafrinchams make house calls? I wish Douglas Adams did, we need him now.
I always thought that there should be a copy of the Hitchiker's in every home as it at least tries to explain the universe, which is more than can be said of their precious religious texts about fairies at the bottom of the garden
