If you happen to be a fan of Formula 1 and did not hear the news....

RED BULL Racing, is NOT going to partner up with Porsche, after all.

They announced a long term relationship to partner up with The Ford Motor Company instead.
Sure has been a long time, but that sure is welcome news to many, myself included.

Ford has a long ugly history of coming back into various forms of racing, staying for a few years then dumping the teams concerned. Let's see how long this lasts.

Sorta like many of the other major Engine building companies, there are a few exceptions but they are very few and far between. Don't blame the manufactures blame the FIA, NASCAR, and INDY CAR rules, a manufacturer can only participate in a certain number of type of racing. In the case of FORD, they have been in NASCAR and PRO RALLY since their conception. If I remember correctly they can only be in 3 forms of racing; and most limit themself to 2 at most, some only support 1.

Red Bull had a signed sealed and delivered contract with Porsche, only to have them back out if it, to supply engines/cars for another series.
