I don't mind if I do...
Actor and rapper Mos Def (Real name Yasiin Bey) has agreed to be force-fed on camera as part of a campaign to help Guantanamo Bay hunger-strikers.

A four-minute film shows medics forcing a plastic tube through the shackled star's nose and towards his stomach.

The process can take 30 minutes, but in the end Mos Def - or Yasiin Bey as he is now known - was unable to undergo the full procedure and was heard pleading with doctors to "stop, please stop".

The 39-year-old said afterwards: "The first part of it is not that bad, but then you get this burning and it starts to be really unbearable, like something is going into my brain and it reaches the back of my throat.

"I really couldn't take it."

The film, directed by Bafta award-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, was launched by the human rights organisation Reprieve as the US government comes under pressure to stop force-feeding Guantanamo detainees.

Here is that film it is a bit graphic:

It certainly highlights an issue that's for sure.

I know what this feels like they tried this on me as a kid for medical reasons but I refused to let it happen.

Save the world the trouble and put as bullet in their heads.
We have one of them walking around free here in Aus because no one would do what needed to be done to eradicate this evil from the world.
If they want to die let them.

We too have radicals here in the UK.

Google the Names Abu Hamza & Abu Qatada.

Thanks to the European Human Rights Act we only just managed to rid our country of a blight after almost 12years and costing the taxpayer £1.7 million in legal fees.
If Strasbourg courts refuse to extradite an extremist cleric back to Jordan where he will be tried over terrorism charges then they have every right to let him live there in Strasbourg instead.

This is certainly a double-edged sword though.
