How Cats Show Love

AA1N9pOi.img

"When your cat looks at you and slowly closes its eyes in a deliberate blink, it is sending a powerful signal of trust and affection. This action is often called the “cat’s kiss” because in feline social behavior, slow blinking communicates comfort and safety. By returning the gesture, you reassure your cat that the bond is mutual, reinforcing the sense of connection that only develops with deep trust."

That’s such a sweet description — love it!

All of the cats I've had followed me around and sit on me. I think they love me.

I was an old member of "the cats club", but we had more aviationsoftware than cats :)

My cat loves me so much it usually ends up sleeping on my head in the middle of the night - or maybe it is just trying to stop the snoring
:)

I take it a great success to have provided my cat a home where he feels so save that he now even actively seeks out the attention of guest, where once he would have hidden, often even from us.

After 5 years, I think last night was the first night I had all 4 cats cuddled up either on/beside me. They usually like to each have their own space and not too close to the cat that sits on everyone.
