It's been on local TV here. It's obviously gold and white. I think if you see different colors, it's either an optical illusion or you're partially color-blind.
I don't "see" the problem. To me, it's gold brown and sky blue. And within each color region there are darker horizontal lines.
So ... according to news sources, the original dress is black and blue and how one sees it depends on how their eye functions with regard to light. Didn't make a lot of sense to me, though.
