Doom Beta....

It has been sometime since Bethesda is selling Wolfenstein: The New Order by offering fans a chance to out the next Doom game. A new update from the developer has confirmed that the beta will only be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, according to a report by Gaming Blot.

People who purchase Wolfenstein, which will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC, can sign up for the beta registration. A code will be included along with the game, and upon redeeming it, players can register.

That's just plain crazy...allowing anyone and everyone that buys the Wolfenstein game, to test the beta version of Doom..whether or not they have any experience in beta testing, communicating the issues that the game has with those that need to be informed etc...

Perhaps they are just using the term "beta testing" because it sounds better to kids then "early access" - which is probably what they are really giving them. I can imagine all the kids telling their friends that they are beta testing the new doom game.
