I've got two cats. One is my Fiancé's, one is mine. Her cat is 13F and mine is 5F.

They've been living together for about 4 years now and they just do not seem to get along very well. My younger cat seems to want to engage is playtime every now and then, which the older cat has no interest in.

This often evolves into a sort of aggression as the younger one begins to chase the older one around and a scuffle typically ensues.

Any experience with this or how to get them to play a bit nicely?

For now i try to distract the younger one with toys if im home and it seems she wants to play. But of course i'm not always home.

I have 3 cats all different ages if one gets a bit too aggressive i put em outside (timeout) but i mostly let em tumble about and someone will get bopped and that ends it an they learn to leave each other alone
