The stats come from Consumer Reports published by the Consumers Union of USA.
The Rankings show how reliable one brand is relative to another across multiple appliances: refrigerators, dishwashers, over-the-range microwaves, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, washing machines, and dryers.
The results are based on survey data collected from CU members on more than 760,000 kitchen and laundry appliances purchased new between 2010 and 2020.
I was surprised to see Samsung so low (20th).
LG is 2nd highest and its appliances are reasonably priced.
